:: From the Original Brief ::

:: Exactly one year ago, on the first Sunday of October 2007, CRH began a series entitled, "This is your church." In that series they examined the church at Antioch as recorded in the book of Acts and discovered from that model what type of church it should become.

:: From this study they identified how carry out the vision God had given Frst Baptist Church. Here is the vision statement: "We exist to love God and to love people through lifestyle development and demonstration."
From the sermon outline:
     "To accomplish this vision we must do three things. We call this E to the third power (To view the E3 logo, go the logo gallery here).
     First create opportunities where people can encounter our God. Secondly create opportunities for our family to experience God through discipleship. Thirdly create opportunities for our family to demonstrate their faith in the community.

:: Sermon Titles ::
1 - Acceptance without compromise -  I Thess. 1
2 - The Art of Tentmaking -  I Thess. 2
3 - The Work of Transformation -  I Thess. 3-4
4 - Purchasing Additional Software -  I Thess. 5:1-11

     A GPS device is relatively new to our culture. But our culture has become well versed with the digital era. Therefore this series is creating a fictitious concept of the "What If" GPS were around back in the 1930's. The look and feel of the elements used in this logo design are reminiscent of early 1930 radio broadcast logos and early B/W television stations.  Handouts will be produced to return to the normal grid structure.
     The look and feel of the series will be similar to the older radio/television ads of the 1940-50's. This concept will bring a new aspect to the aging feel of the digital realm. Other areas demonstrated in this series.

1 - Original artwork will be introduced that has been developed by local artist. The artist was given manuscripts of the series and has come up with one or more options. These pieces will flow side-by-side the series design and if possible be adapted into the bulletins for the series. This is an experimental avenue that will be reviewed afterwards to see if we can expand this into more areas of CRH.

2- Expression Pictures created a film as a small feature for Sermon #1. To view the film, click here.
